How I Became a Therapist in Another World started with someone else’s joke (see the “Extras” page for book 1 for more on that) and turned into the sweet, goofy fantasy series I never knew I needed to write. It starts with a woman pulled out of her world and into a new one, like so many other stories before it, and centers itself on friendship, empathy, community-building, a little bit of romance, and a lot of heart. The first four books follow Lavender, the titular magical therapist; the rest follow characters introduced along the way, including a woodland witch, a depressed dragon, and a couple of retired adventurers.
Overall, it touches on some serious themes while maintaining an optimistic tone and a trace of humor. Please note: This series is not cozy; it contains elements that some readers may find uncomfortable, such as mental health topics, supernatural threats, and flawed characters.

Individual novellas:
The original release format. These are semi-deprecated, in that no new individual novellas will be released, and they’ll only be available on Amazon. But so far, they’re still there. When the second omnibus is released, all of the novellas will be contained in them except for The Salty Mageknight and the Sweet Dark Lord, which will eventually be in omnibus #3. Releases from then on will be in omnibus form.
